Cary Norman paints, draws, makes ceramics and copper with steel structures. Her work is inspired by traces of the ancient as well as present familiar natural forms. She takes a particular interest in the effects of time and the elements on the materials she works with such as the rusting of the steel and the verdigris of the copper. Her metal works react to natures forces producing kinetic changes and an almost musical accompaniment and ranges of changing colours. She regularly exhibits her work as well as taking on private commissions.
